IFLA Brazil in October – Anyone going?

I know someone posted on this a few months ago…but I”m starting a new thread anyhow. Anyone here going? I’m just curious if anyone managed to swing it. Are you young, old, employed, unemployed, under-employed? I’m going – registered months ago, bought my airplane ticket a month ago at a fire-sale price, and am probably doing it all out-of-pocket…..while under-employed. But I think it will be worth it. Still need to find a hotel though – the posh place they want us to stay at would be really nice if someone else is staying, but I think I can do better than $200+ a night in Brazil.
