In Kind Donations/Pro Bono Work

Has anyone dealt with this situation recently?  I worked on several pro bono projects last year and am now working on my taxes.  I’m reading an IRS form that says I cannot deduct the value of my time and services.  My question is that since I provided actual plans (conceptual drawings, construction documents, etc.)  to the charitable organization, does that constitute a product rather than time and services?
