iPads in the LA Office

Hey Guys, I was wondering how many of your offices are starting to make iPads (or comparable tablets) a part of their everyday workflow? And to what degree?

Our firm is considering purchasing iPads for all of the project managers in the office. Right now we have been using the couple we have in the office to show our portfolio and show precedent images, but we would like to step up their usage. So, I wanted to see how other people might be integrating them into their offices.

I’d like to see a lot more discussion on this topic – they’re too expensive if they’re toys, but if you can REALLY utilize them they could be invaluable. Kevin – check out the other discussions on tablets, how people use them and what software they use…there have been a couple of like discussions lately but I was too lazy to put mine in ‘technology’!
