How about an equivalent space for women in the landscape? We know what the spaces for kids are..playgrounds, and nature – streams, trees..really everything as long as it is safe..I can think of the Vail of Kashmir in Prospect Park, an old glacial kettle hole ( big – 400 yards across, at least…) enhanced by Olmsted into a sunken garden space, with spiraling paths going down to the complex, naturalistic water element – this seems like a very feminine space to me..
