ParticipantHi, I’ve been unemployed for five months and am thinking about taking the LEED GA exam to make myself more marketable. Does anyone have any recommendations for study guides? I’m hesitant to spend $155 for the Green Assoc. Study Guide w/ Green Building & LEED Core Concepts Guide from the USGBC. I’m thinking about getting the “LEED GA Exam Guide: A must-have for the LEED green associate exam: Comprehensive study materials, sample questions, mock exam, green building LEED … and sustainability” for $50. Thanks!

Wes Arola, RLAParticipantI focused for a few weeks on the practice tests below, shooting for an average of 80% on all of them. It will let you know which topics you are weak on and then you can target those areas to perfect them.

Those were all i focused on and passed the test. I didn’t do any reading, except for a bit of research on specific practice questions…just hammered away on the practice tests. Save yourself the money…and good luck!

ParticipantThanks for the recommendation, Wes. $50 seems like a pretty good deal for seven practice tests and a 200+ page study guide.

Judith MercadoParticipantI was just gonna post the same question but you beat me to the punch. Ive also been looking for study guides. The one that the USGBC recommends is super expensive. Maybe this website will be helpful.
