Jonathan P. Williams, RLAParticipantI may have to go take a picture of a similar thing I saw. Stamped conc. in Cobble was repaired with Stamped conc. Random Rectangles. Crazy.

Wyatt Thompson, PLAParticipantSeriously, this was a thoughtful design decision? It looks like they installed the utility cover incorrectly. I am officially bothered.

Leslie B WagleParticipantSomeone did some thinking on the lid and someone else plopped it down 90 degrees off. However, it makes a great “how to tell if you are a designer” type aptitude test item. Maybe we should continue this thread with other insider pics (that wouldn’t bother ordinary people).

ParticipantNo matter how often you turn it, it won’t fit. Put it upside down!

BoilerplaterParticipantSomebody got lazy when cutting the beige pavers. No table wet saw maybe? But yeah, that kind of stuff annoys me. I see examples of this kind of thing all the time.

Andrew Garulay, RLAParticipantWhat looks worse – a utility cover or trying to hide a utility cover?
Regardles of being rotated.

Jason T. RadiceParticipantAaaaaaand this is why I don’t ever use stamped or stained concrete. You ain’t foolin’ nobody and you can’t fix it. They have enough problems placing or repairing REGULAR concrete around here.
Thanks for the update and the pickiture.
