I was wondering if anybody knows of some decent rhino tutorials for getting started with the program and also for using it specifically for landscape design. I am attempting to learn it in order to add it to my set of skills (for getting a job). I am using the mac version, as it is currently in free public beta. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I wish I had some advice for you, but can only offer sympathy!  The lack of tutorials, on-line help – things I frequently rely on when learning software – are not there for Rhino like AutoCAD, Photoshop – etc.

Our textbook was “Inside Rhinoceros 4” – Ron K.C. Cheng – my advice would be to get that and start slogging through it.  You’ll find out in about 5 minutes that YouTube has very few Rhino videos.

    Good luck!

I got into it fine using the built in tutorials, the duck gets through most of the basics for modeling.

Aaron, McNeel also offers video tutorials for download, and it should cover all you need from basics to producing plans and renders. However, it will cost you 80 bucks and there is no sound?. http://www.la.rhino3d.com/visual_tips/visual_tips.html
