Shou Sugi Ban wood for a small house

I have a 135 square meters house and I’m planning to add Shou Sugi Ban (also known as charred wood) siding. Do you think it is worth the cost or I should invest in something other? Degmeda.eu seems like a good place to order materials, so if you could help me to decide, I will buy them right away

I’ve only see it in fences but don’t see why it couldn’t be siding, depending on whether it lasts as long as other treated or tested wood products. I wouldn’t do it strictly for an appearance preference without knowing that.
