I didn’t have the chance to watch the presentations, but design wise, Foster’s idea of the large common spaces are what is needed in today’s office building. Zaha’s, just looking at the model, is just pretty with little interesting functional element. I like her work, but let’s not forget what architecture (and landscape architecture) is – spaces that serve a purpose, and not just there to look at.
