Video (3 minutes): Lighting the Way
Leni Schwendinger’s pioneering use of civic illumination to transform infrastructures and public spaces has been recognized by Architectural Digest in both print and online video.
The article, entitled “Lighting the Way”, features three U.S. projects: Triple Bridge Gateway in New York City, Tidal Radiance in San Diego, California, and the Hoboken Ferry Terminal in New Jersey.
My travels have inspired me to always strive to reveal the beauty in man-made creations.In the interview Leni discusses how her work energizes architecture, landscape, transportation, and infrastructure with the ultimate objective of connecting people to each other and to their surroundings, especially during the nighttime hours.
