Very good. I think it was the first time in my life when my coffee tab was bigger than my beer tab – but worth every penny.
We were staying on Savoyen strasse and had a good view of the city. We poked around some of the trails up there. We strolled around Schonbrunn and tried to imagine how it works leafed out. Still impressive. We took in a show at the Konzerthaus then a night walk along the canal (name?) there. I thought the Intercontinental Hotel made a horrible back drop to the scene. We stopped by Nasch Market on Sunday, but it was closed, so headed to the Hofburg.
Over all, the grand scale was too imperial for my taste. The plazas were too big to make much sense while walking around. But I’ve been in Prague for the last month and every thing here fits the pedestrian like a glove. What is your take having lived there for a while?
Thanks again for the tips
