With the incredible growth and expansion of Magical Bridge playgrounds, parks and custom projects in the U.S. and beyond, we are looking to hire an additional Landscape Architect/Project Manager. Our ideal candidate is local to the Bay Area, and is an architect with a California state license to design, produce and project manage large scale Magical Bridge custom projects. Magical Bridge Foundation is particularly enthusiastic about hearing from applicants who have disabilities or a family member with a disability.

Magical Bridge Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization that works in partnership with local governments, corporations, and organizations to design, build and maintain innovative, inclusive, intergenerational public play spaces welcoming guests of all ages, abilities, and sizes. We redefine inclusive spaces with our truly pioneering, mindful designs that far exceed industry standards, remove the physical and social barriers of traditional designs. Our advocacy and companion programming, both on and off the playground, promotes kindness, ignites vital intergenerational play, and creates more inclusive communities.

Responsibilities include:
* Promote the values of the foundation to promote inclusive play in public spaces, treat all with kindness, and intentionally design for all ages, sizes and abilities
* Meet and manage clients, builders, engineers and installers throughout the project
* Prepare concept plans and graphics for client review
* Create site plans, specifications, and estimates
* Use CAD to develop graphic representations and construction document packages
* Conduct on-site inspections to assure adherence to the final plan
* Research and analyze environmental reports on land conditions

* Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, required – master’s degree preferred
* Secured State License
* Must be creative and resourceful to fulfill clients’ needs within budget and parameters
* Work in a fast-paced, start-up environment
* 5+ years of experience in a landscape architectural firm
* Experience working with municipalities, on multiyear projects preferred
* Experience with CAD, Adobe Suite Products
* Excellent analytical skills, oral and written communication skills
* Knowledge of playground standards
* Passionate about universal, inclusive, and intentional design for ALL
