This person will see projects through from start to finish on a per project basis. This position requires someone who can take initiative to keep their project moving forward on a steady timeline. There is potential for full time work.
Tasks include site visits, creating presentation packets, creating drawings and renderings, meeting with clients, sourcing materials, communicating with contractors and vendors, organizing estimates and pricing, overseeing construction progress etc. In person studio days 3 days per week.
Proficient in the following computer programs:
AutoCAD / Sketchup
Rendering software like Rhino or similar quality
Microsoft Excel
Adobe InDesign
Adobe Photoshop (preferred but not required)
Other Requirements:
Applicants must have experience in landscape design, ideally with knowledge of sustainable and ecological practices in garden design and familiarity with CA native plants. Experience with on site work and construction oversight will also be needed for this position.
Must be based in Los Angeles
