Well i start from stock 3d models which i modify slightly- by attaching the canopy to the branches preserving their texture coordinates and from there i convert them into proxy objects using vray mesh export. 

Once i have the proxy object and if i want to multiply it, i just copy it  instanced- that way, you can create a whole forrest from a single proxy without loading the RAM memory too much 🙂

Well i use Evermotion 3d models- they come in editions, one of them is only with vegetation- volume 7 i think. I download the models via torents and they come with a Pdf file overview that shows the contetnts of the model.

Please note that the models themselves are in high detail and that means a lot of geometry- so more than 4-5 models in the same scne will slow your computer. If you plan  on using lots of models, i think Proxy  is the way to go 🙂

Now i don-t use these 3d tree models unless i don’t have other choices- For saving time i render the image without the trees and then add  PNG vegetation  images  in photoshop later. Of course it is not 3D but it saves a lot of rendering time:)

olso in the renderings there are artifacts and ovelaping surfaces at the windows,other than that, thumbs up:)

In my opinion good design refers to a way of thinking wich can turn the ordinary and usual into something more, using creative thought. Good design can go 2 ways: eighter the pursuit of simplicity ,, or … the dareness to find beauty in complexity. we might like something eighter for its simpliciy ,, or for its intricate complex layout:)

for me , great design means simplicity taken to the limit, for all wich is simple is beautifull and all that is beautifull lies within simple things:)
