I am a modernist at heart, seeking contemporary applications of the mid-century modern mindset. Using local (cultural, geographic, climate, site specific, etc.) criteria is mandatory for successful design solutions. Including water as a design element is something that I strive for and typically begin a project by establishing a water-to-architecture connection to build from.
