  • hang in there steve. you may have to move once or twice befre you settle in aplace to establish your career. there is plenty of work in china and the middle east if you are adventurous. LA is a great career – I’ve been doing it for 27 years and would do it all over again.

I moved to Denver in 1984 as a new grad in the middle of a recession…[Read more]

I’ll be in Philly for ASLA. I know several including Bill Vitek, Dennis Carmichael, Tim DeLorm and Donna Walcavage will be there at least for the Fellow dinner Sat night.. I’m not aware of anyone else from my office (Denver) that is going.. Anybody else going? At past meetings we’ve tried to connect. Any thoughts on that?

    Anyone else going?

greetings from Beijing… Fascinating work here in china for those of us starved for it in the states. Alot of environmental challenges as well as freedom for cutting edge design. it’s not for everyone though..

  • Tracey: without a license you will not be able to call yourself a landscape architect nor practice landscape architecture in most states. if this is your career choice I’d go with the accredited program.. Good luck.
