Dan Kovach is a resident of the Truckee Meadows since 1981, and is registered landscape architect in Nevada and California since 1986, working in the interface between human activity and the natural environment has occurred in the arid Great Basin region, California central valley and the Sierra Nevada Mountains. In 2008, Mr. Kovach became a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC).
His scope of his work includes sustainable site design, construction cost estimation, preparation of presentation and construction documents, technical specifications, and project management for clients including public agencies, commercial and home owners. In addition, Dan worked with a non-profit organization to bring replacement housing to Haiti in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake, in the context of the local cultural and natural environment.

Dan derives great fulfillment from youth outdoor leadership training and facilitating groups to explore various natural environments in all seasons.
