My friend is mid-20’s and enjoys the downtown atmosphere at a smaller scale. The best place to experience a little bit of everything, including culture/restaurants/parks/etc, is what he is looking for. He was looking at apartments near Marston Lake (sp?) in Littleton, and figured it would be 5 minute drive to the park and ride and 20 min. train ride into the Performing Arts Complex. He really didn’t even know if that was a good location or not. He has only been to Denver for his interview and had little time to explore the city, let alone the outskirts.
I will inform him on Boulder and Golden. Just out of curiosity, how long would it take to take the bus into downtown from those locations and back?
I will also tell him to look into DU/Washington Park area. Sounds like it would be a great location to commute to work and to experience out of work activities. Thanks for all your insight. I know he is looking forward to the experience.
