Personally I think it’s easier and produces a much better product if you take the time to learn to use photoshop or just do hand renderings.

I say that because the colors and hatches are so limited in CAD. there are no blending options ect…

This probably doesn’t help too much, but it really is worth it to learn photoshop. You can pick up a copy of cs4 for quite a bit cheaper than cs5.

I really liked Mike Timmons classes the most i think. I had amazing teachers and classes all the way through, but I enjoyed History of L.A. a ton and his Parks and Open Space class was awesome!
