Well, I am in Los Angeles right now and really like it. No plans of moving anywhere but do not have very deep roots here either. I guess for the sake of argument, I will be practicing in California for the few years after graduating. It is a career change for me. I have a BA in international Affairs and as a way to bridge both careers, I just finished a certificate in Sustainable Design at UCLA ext. and started working for an architect doing gray water installations. I just went up to Pomona yesterday and I must say I was a little disappointed. While the school at large seems top notch, the Environmental Design building and the Lyle Center looked…. literally abandoned. A bit strange I thought but trying to find out more about the program itself, because if the program is good… I don’t care about the looks. (I have also been admitted to other programs but USC, RISD and Pomona are the only ones under serious consideration). Thanks!!
