Xerophytic Landscapes 17 years, 1 month agoName that plant.
Looks like a pine tree from a distance with a flower that is reminiscent of a succulent. I think it’s a desert plant.

Graphics 17 years, 2 months agoResponse to comment by Brent Farrar, I have used turpentine and pastels on normal paper. you get a similar effect of watercolour, but the paper does not wrinkle, this was my solution to getting the watercolour feel without all the hassle.

Graphics 17 years, 2 months agoHey Brandon….thanks for the invite. I use Vectorworks to create landscape designs…..do you know where can I find more information on realistic coloring techniques to use on my Vectorworks drawings so it looks like I used real colored pencils. Are there any other ways to make the drawings look high end? Peace!

LSU Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture 17 years, 3 months agoWe are all back in motion. School started back up monday and the Design building seems to be doing fine. Some of the faculty and students in Baton Rouge still are without power but the majority do have power.
Looks like Ike is bringing some winds and rain but nothing like Gustav so I assume everything will be ok and we won’t have any more setbacks.
