MarkoParticipantBianca,
You’re not counting it twice. You have to account for the amount of water that is being used by both: the trees AND the ground cover. The tree ET is calc-ed via size of canopy but you can use estimated root ball size and compare that number to the one you calc-ed via tree canopy.

MarkoParticipantBill, Thanks for the reply. Yes im going to use MP rotators for the border area of the site, and rotors for inside the grounds. Im goin gto try and place the mp rotators to minimize the amount of water that hits the Palms. Did you notice that the MP rotators 360s are not adjustable?? They are fixed 360. This is a bummer, because if they were adjustable (0-360) id be able to miss the Palms.(the others are 90-270). Im going to recommend they clear out a space around the Palms per your recommendation.

MarkoParticipantBill, i like the WeatherTrak system. Clients usually get it after i teach them how to use it ..along with a little tutorial on ET. Once its set up, i like to check back with clients to make sure sys is still set up correctly allowing me another touch point with them. great for referrals etc..

MarkoParticipantHappy to sign a complaint form. I too filled out “the form” and gave it to the redline admin person. CLARB should be held to the same exacting standards they hold us to. (but dont).

MarkoParticipantI too am studying for Section C, third!~ attempt! After taking Ray Freeman’s excellent prep class..ill tell you what he told us. You are now entering LARE-Y land! Do not try and make any sense to these vignettes. This will cause you to fail! (which is why i did..twice!). All CLARB cares about is that you follow the LARE reference manual and the vignette questions. IF you try to use common (design) sense, you’ll fail. They dont care about common design sense! (and they do love your money$$$. Lots and lots of it!
Ever notice why you cant make sense of their scoring system? Ever notice why they dont show you a passing solution in the red-line? Ever notice why you can never figure out why you failed (yes..even while looking at the redline you paid $250 for??).
GO figr…($$)
