Nicole Beard

Nicole Beard, Associate ASLA, is a Site Designer with site design group, ltd in Chicago, Illinois. As an entry-level professional, she is eager to dive deeper into the landscape architecture profession, driven by a passion to collaboratively make meaningful impacts through design. She is committed to sharing insights gained from her academic journey, striving to contribute positively to the field. She holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from Kansas State University, where she explored research-based, community-driven design within urban vacancy. During her time in the Kansas State University’s Master of Landscape Architecture program, Nicole served as an executive director of the 2023 LABash Conference while actively participating in membership and taking on leadership roles within the Kansas State Student ASLA Chapter. Since graduating in 2023, Nicole continues her involvement with ASLA as the National Associate Representative.
