James A. Lord is a Co-Founding Partner of San Francisco landscape architecture and urban design firm Surfacedesign. Its honors include a Cooper Hewitt National Design Award, Architectural Digest Innovator recognition, and an Architectural League of New York “Emerging Voices” award.
