The best way to improve your knowledge is to practice and work in a company that specializes in your chosen industry. Only by plunging into the process knee-deep will you be able to understand and master everything. Of course, thematic and specialized articles will help you out a lot. Not as much as personal experience, though. When I graduated from university and was looking for a job, I studied a lot of programs for drawing and modeling.
