Design and rendering I did of a dome structure and various other structures proposed in 2004 and built in 2006 to present. The design of all the structural elements is a celebration of San Diego’s own Irving Gill, a local architect of San Diego in early 20th century. He was responsible for brining modernity to the prevalent Spanish style of architecture in San Diego. The site’s density was a concern for the City and in response we proposed numerous high-level iconic neighborhood identifying landscape elements to create an interesting and walkable community in Chula Vista, CA.
