Kimley-Horn provided a variety of services for FAU at its multiple Florida campuses including civil engineering, landscape architecture, and irrigation design for a new 300-space parking lot; designing a new traffic signal; investigation of the structural framing of various buildings; design of a new exterior stairway; civil engineering and surveying of high-voltage electrical duct banks; design of force and water mains; upgrades to lift stations; structural condition review and correction design of elevated walkways; design and construction plans for new sidewalks; roadway design and permitting; feasibility and benefits for interconnection of water facilities; evaluation of 16 lift stations and sanitary sewers; small boats marina grading and utility improvements; aquaculture drainage improvement; saltwater supply study and construction plans; and a sea wall assessment and improvements.
