If you walk down to the canal in the distance and turn right you can walk straight down an allee to Petite Trianon and the faux village Marie Antoinette created so she could feel like a common person walking through it. Goats. Pigs. Horses. Oh, and common people who took care of the animals. In the end, it’s good she got it out of her system because life is short. Hers more than most.
