Public relations firm Violet PR announced today the promotion of Christina Forrest to vice president. In her nearly nine years with Violet PR, Forrest has helped the agency grow into one of the nation’s top boutique PR firms. She has a track record of securing new, high-profile clients and implementing award-winning public relations campaigns for economic development organizations, architectural and engineering firms, and thought leaders.

Forrest has led over 20 award-winning campaigns recognized by PRSA, PRSA-NJ, Ragan Communications, Bulldog Reporter and PR NEWS, among others. A media relations expert, she has secured coverage in top-tier outlets including NBC’s “Today Show,” Forbes, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The New York Times, ABC News, Fortune, Bloomberg, Business Insider and USA Today. Her industry knowledge has been published by PR trades including PR Daily, PR NEWS and Cision.
As vice president, Forrest will focus on leading the firm’s expanding team and identifying new growth areas for Violet PR, while continuing to oversee media relations, social media and content development campaigns for clients.

Forrest holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication with a concentration in public relations from Monmouth University, where she graduated with honors. She also served as an associate judge for the PRSA-NY Big Apple awards in 2022, the PRSA-NJ Pyramid awards in 2022, 2021 and 2019, and the Stevie Awards in 2020. She was named a “Top 40 Under 40 PR Professional” by the NJ Ad Club and a “Rising Star” by PRSA-NJ.
