Relief and climatic conditions

The study area is located on the surface of Bucharest Plain, Plain Vlasiei subunit. The altitude varies between 55 and 80 m, the ground having a slight inclination of 1-3 ⁰
The presence of Tei Lake has an important influence on the climate, but a less influence on the landscape due to the limited perception. The lake visibility is framed by vegetation of Pipera Nursery and private properties.
The volume of precipitation in the city is less than 550-600 mm / year and water flow is achieved through the sewer system, infiltration into the soil or to its natural flow of lake.
