The Landscape Architect series has six books about CJ, Christopher Janus. He wrote them all. The six stories are his collected memoirs. He was into asking questions, discovering and writing. And above all he was a landscape architect deeply involved with foreign cultures, landscape and design. The six stories track the arc of his beginning interest in landscape architecture followed by his growth in the profession.

In books 1 and 2, CJ, Christopher Janus is introduced. He is an American, a university student majoring in Landscape Architecture doing a term abroad design study in Morocco.
In books 3, 4 and 5 we follow CJ as he begins his career in the United States. Then he becomes an expatriate as he develops his international career in North Africa and the Middle East.
In book 6, CJ, as an independent consultant, finds himself in the United Arab Emirates, where a five-star resort destination deep in the Empty Quarter has landscape problems he must fix. The Empty Quarter becomes such an exhausting force that after the project CJ decides to retire and return to the USA.
