This is a difficult photo to go from…

Where was it located and were there other specimen nearby?

i’ve asked around and a couple people said it was a california poppy,

but when i looked in the front yard where there lots of poppies they look similar to this

and these look like different plants……..even the tiny poppy seedlings out front, look exactly like the picture right above except smaller, with same number of branches……

Yeah, you will know if its a poppy in about a week. It could also be a very young Alyogyne Monterey Bay, Blue Hibiscus.
