Does anyone have a statistic on how many firms have closed? Has the profession lost big numbers of firms, whether one person or large, or has it only lost big numbers in staffing?
 
I’m not seeing or hearing of any firms closing down in Massachusetts. There have definitely been a lot of people laid off, though.

I frequent Landezine, but they cover mostly European landscapes… Anyone know any blogs about new, cutting edge landscape designs in the States or by la firms from the States?

As long as you know the tips on setting up a quick 1 point perspective method (not 2 point, as it will take longer), and just use pen (LePen, Stylish or Pentel Sign pen) to sketch quickly.  I will post the quick method in the near future to share with everyone.

It is so true that small sketch can save time and able us to draw without fear.  However 2″x2″ seems to be too small. Keep it in 2×3 or 3×4 or 4×6 will be good for correct proportion.
