If you are still open to other options, maybe look into an MBA with a focus in sustainability. That will substantially increase the range of jobs availbile to you when you get out of school, some firms might find an MBA more attractive than an MLA. If you decide to got the MLA route, make sure you don’t end up in a combined program, rather, find a program that is not studio focused and will allow you to research what you want. I would definitely downsize the file size, 82MB is huge. From personal experience I have received “return to sender” emails from a portfolio that was only 8MB. You can solve the “thin stone” issue by adhering the stone to concrete– even in “dry lay” solutions, this can work if you get the process right.  Too many geeky discussions about it, but we have done it.
