The purpose of the site other then what is listed on the about page http://archlandscapes.com/about/ is to show the world what amazing things Landscape Architects do, how it is integrated with architecture, and to broaden the general publics view of what Landscape Architecture is. The site is very young still and we would love it if any of you out there would make suggestions on ways to improve the site, stuff to add, and anything else. The site is for you so please help make it as useful as possible.
Sincerely,

December 10, 2009 at 4:44 am #177266Claudia ChalfaParticipantThis is a blog I started a couple of years ago, and although I haven’t added much to it lately, I will be doing so soon. Now that I am working for a planning department there are plenty of new topics surfacing that I would like to discuss. I’d love to hear input and discussion from others about some of the articles already written, too.

April 20, 2010 at 9:43 pm #177264Thomas RainerParticipantEric,
I love shameless self-promotion. Speaking of which, I have just launched a content-heavy blog on landscape and culture called Grounded Design. I update 3-4 times a week.
It contains musings on the form, meaning, and expression of designed landscapes.
Check it out if you have time.
Thanks,
Thomas
