When you receive a piece of marketing through the mail, which do you feel is more effective: A short to the point postcard, or a more descriptive form letter?
I pretty much never read letters. I get marketing letters all the time and the moment I know it is marketing, I toss it, sometimes without opening! Postcards are already opened, so to speak. Looking at it on the walk between the mail box and the front door is better than tossing without opening.
I agree. A post card with eye-catching photos may entice me to visit your website, but I won’t even open a letter (not even if I can tell there are product samples inside).
