Medeterranean Plants

I have a project on the Medeterranean Sea in Morocco and need to find out what type of plants work well there and how they are available. Can anyone point me to some good on-line resources or provide a list of good trees, shrubs, vines, etc. to research? THANKS!

If you need some help with the plants, say something

Look at the food – see all the herbs and spices they use in moroccan cooking and what the verieties are. Consider aspect and elevation if in the mountains but dinner and its flavourings are what is grown and always roses – check damascus varieties i think – old ones anyway. Dont forget rosewater is also used in cooking.
