    Hi all –

I have been accepted to the CCNY’s MLA 1 program starting this August. I decided to apply to CCNY because of its focus on designing in an urban setting.

Anyone care to offer their opinions on this program? Any insight would be greatly appreciated, but I’m most interested in hearing about the program’s reputation, size, and philosophy.

    Thanks!

If Michael Sorkin is still there I’d say you should be able to get alot out of the program. We look at alot of sorkins work in our urban design studio at csu.

Thanks for the input, Nick. As far as I know Michael Sorkin is still there. Not sure how much he has to do with the MLA program. I’ve found it pretty difficult to get info on CCNY so far.

I’m certainly interested in urban design so hearing that you study his work at CSU is encouraging.
