I noted Rico listed Ace Torre as an influence. I recently completed an extensive article profiling Torre for next month’s (May 09) issue of Landscape Architecture Magazine. It’s an in-depth look at his design drawing philosophies and techniques, with step by step photos of Torre in the studio creating one of his famous “tilt-up” aerial drawings.

I’ve been using Rhino and just a word of caution, it is primarily an industrial design 3D modeling program and I’ve found that it does not work well for large scale applications. It exceeds in designing small elements, which can then be exported into other programs that work better with land manipulation.

Is there contamination of anything other than “broken glass” and in what condition would that contaminate be? .. I use mental ray as well. I think for rendering perspectives it works pretty well but Brazil seems to be ideal for animations since it shortens the rendering time without sacrificing too much quality.
