After some years of recreation after organisation of ELASA Berlin 04 : hello to ELASA again!

looking for best examples of recently designed urban open space layered with narrative and cultural meaning; post-minimalist preferred

I noted Rico listed Ace Torre as an influence. I recently completed an extensive article profiling Torre for next month’s (May 09) issue of Landscape Architecture Magazine. It’s an in-depth look at his design drawing philosophies and techniques, with step by step photos of Torre in the studio creating one of his famous “tilt-up” aerial drawings.

Difficult question. In Switzerland unemployment is growing fast. But landscapeachitecture now is still good, there are several open positions and lots of offices have lots work to do. ya shows that there is no one right way to do it! its alros really fun looking at other peoples stuff and trying to figure out what they did so i can apply it to my own

In the eve of my graduation from Landscape Architecture program at UCLA, I was wondering what are the prospects of gaining some work experience in Europe. My concern is mainly with today’s economy. Can anyone comment on that?

ya the day I was supposed to come visit the mountains near me got 28 inches, it was amazing. ya i will keep that gradual change in mind for my next one it also looks darker on here because auto levels on photoshop is a bit over kill. but i definately didnt need to pick up the scarlet when doing the brick work i wanted to tear it up as soon as i did that

Likewise! i need to work on my colors though i have a tendency to go way too bold. how was seattle?
