It depends on the scale of the plan. 100-200 trees I usually use Photoshop brush. The benefits of brush is to set up size and layout easily, especially for planning type project. And then apply texture, shadow, etc.

In reality, you won’t get low pay as long as your new career/job is still related to your background. But it may be a risk in many aspect if you completely jump into a new career.
It’s a risk because it’s not just what one person wants at this age. It’s also about family, personal goal/life, career achievement, salary, value, time, etc. Above all,…[Read more] -

Actually, that’s what I’m interested. I wonder if I can work for developer firms and later became one of them as developer/investor. The problem is I don’t have business background. I’m curious how should I start this career. Of course, I will not have problem to work as designer as well.

Hi David,
I’m sorry I didn’t make clear on my questions. I agree with you on how CAD style works well in 2D linework and Rhino doesn’t look perfect for building design. But in addtion to design in realism, I’m also willing to learn different rendering for experimental design. -

Hi Joshua,
I noticed you are graduate student at Clemson. I will be a graduate student in this Fall as well. The reason I asked about software is I want to learn a software to accomplish my ideas to models in “artist” style like you said. Did you try abstract or bionics shape in your assignment before? (It doesn’t matter if Arch. or L Arch.) I’…[Read more] -

Thank you for the answers.
I’m an international student so that I don’t have American accredited degree for undergraduate. There are only 67 accredited universities including BLA and MLA in US. Not considering TOP schools like Harvard and UPenn and the ones in the areas I don’t really like, I didn’t have many choices left. The fact is I have re…[Read more] -
