What projects do you want to work on? What steps are you taking to find that type of work and work on it???

Who has a great strategy for finding work and getting it once you have found it???

would anyone be interested in selling their used workbooks from the workshops to me? I live in Australia and in the near future, not able to travel to the States to attend the graphic workshops.

I;ll join any group that can make me laugh.

This past weekend I took Richard Scott’s Sketching on Location Workshop in Central Park. Great class. Twelve “students” from high school junior to college students to middle-aged designers. A year plus ago I attended Richard Scott’s Accurate Freehand Persepective Drawing class in San Francisco and found him to be one of the clearest art teachers I’ve ever had. It was not an easy class, but he was so calm and insightful. He gave very specific instruction with steps to follow. What stands out the most is how much he enjoys what he does.

I was fortunate enough to take Richard Scott’s rendering classes in school at Cal Poly Pomona and a water coloring class with him in Florence.

I’m taking Richard Scott’s Graphic Workshop this weekend in Philly. While I’m happy with my graphics I think its important to explore new options. I’ll let you know what I think after this weekend.
