Good design is appropriate, contextual, robust, unique. Good design is engaging, inspiring and still familiar. Great design is sublime.

For a Landscape Architect to truy be successful as a designer, he has to be able to communicate on the level of the contractor. I have an idea for all of you graphics enthusiasts…..maybe we should all render the same graphic using our techniques and compare and contrast all of our different styles and influences…..Does anyone have any thoughts on this idea? I am open to any suggestions as well!

I think that it all depends on what you think is best for your business! I personally would never cater the programs I use around another business! I give you that advice from personal bad experience! What if that company goes out of business? What if they stop using you for some reason? Then what?

Maybe I shouldn’t greatest designer cause it is very subjective….How about who is your favorite designer……I would have to Jeffery Gordon Smith is a pretty great designer….He is a member of our group…You should check out his work…..
