Has anybody used the Ivy Generator for max? It is really good. plus it is free. This guy used it on the side of the building.

I make my sketch in Sketchup but render is very problem for me…I mean that I ‘m finding a program but no crack for several day…this makes me crazy…please give me a trick…

im not sure about artlantis. i have heard good things and bad things… do you have access to any other software? maxwell or 3ds? if not i can ask around, maybe do a google image search or somethin?

Vray’s global illumination and hdr lighting is the best. I never really liked mentalray

Does everybody learn 3ds Max using the Barcelona Pavillion? I guess that animation won’t be going in my portfolio after all.

I noted Rico listed Ace Torre as an influence. I recently completed an extensive article profiling Torre for next month’s (May 09) issue of Landscape Architecture Magazine. I’ve been using Rhino and just a word of caution, it is primarily an industrial design 3D modeling program and I’ve found that it does not work well for large scale applications. It exceeds in designing small elements, which can then be exported into other programs that work better with land manipulation.
