After a conversation about not having many “modern” looking people to use in Photoshop graphics, I searched for a few new sources of downloadable graphics. Although it is good to take your own photos of people and crop out the background in Photoshop, sometimes you just need some entourage fast to get a project out the door.

I did the CLARB practice test last fall and found it to be a waste of money…the exam was short, a little too easy and didn’t cover much of what was on the actual exam. I also felt the time was more than enough but then again, I think the actual exams give enough of a time window to successfully answer the questions and even go back through the entire exam. The practice exams are over-priced – we spend way to much money preparing and taking the LARE as it is. Save your money and study the materials that are available for FREE on the Google Goups website: http://groups.google.com/group/lare-exam/files
I passed A, B and D the first time without studying too much or stressing out. I also think experience is the best method of study…
