My first option would be to get professional experience in restoration design before I go back to school and I’m very much looking into that but also looking to keep my options open. Just wanted to see how many planners-turned-LAs there are. I know there is a significant amount of shared history and values, but the technical skill set of LAs set them apart. I’m considering doing the switch myself, and plan on slowly picking up the skills part-time. Are there many who have done this? Any advice?
