Planning Profession and Landscape Architecture 13 years, 4 months agoHello!
Just wanted to see how many planners-turned-LAs there are. I know there is a significant amount of shared history and values, but the technical skill set of LAs set them apart. I’m considering doing the switch myself, and plan on slowly picking up the skills part-time. Are there many who have done this? Any advice?

SketchUp 13 years, 5 months agoIn regards to the first comment about the program operating very slow, I would guess that either there are so many objects in the file that it is making the program run slow, or hardware on your computer such as your CPU and/or your Memory are not fast enough for the program. LARE Multiple Choice Discussion 13 years, 7 months agoCan anyone point out a good source for sustainability and materials and methods. It felt great on the exam, but something has to be missing. Im floating between 2s and 3s and I have referenced many books that I have. Do the practice exams help?

I’d love to see some samples of 3rd party plug-ins. -

you can find some examples at my DA Gallery 3D Jobs folder. Most of the recent works are produced with 3D vegetation, a combination of pre-made models, self-models used via proxies and rendered with MentalRay or Vray. Hopefully, they can give some idea.
