3ds max + landscape architecture 16 years, 7 months agoDoes everybody learn 3ds Max using the Barcelona Pavillion? I guess that animation won’t be going in my portfolio after all.

Graphics 16 years, 8 months agoI noted Rico listed Ace Torre as an influence. I recently completed an extensive article profiling Torre for next month’s (May 09) issue of Landscape Architecture Magazine. It’s an in-depth look at his design drawing philosophies and techniques, with step by step photos of Torre in the studio creating one of his famous “tilt-up” aerial drawings.

3ds max + landscape architecture 16 years, 8 months agoI use mental ray as well. I think for rendering perspectives it works pretty well but Brazil seems to be ideal for animations since it shortens the rendering time without sacrificing too much quality.

3ds max + landscape architecture 16 years, 8 months agoI’ll see if I can get a hold of the 64 bit version of Brazil later tonight. My buddy sent me VRay too but there was something wrong with the zip file so I couldn’t get it to work. What’s so great about VRay? He’s also supposed to send RenderMan whatever that is.
