No idea how many plants though. I have a pretty recent plant list from LSU (2 years old) if you want it.</p>

In fact, Windows Vista ran smoother on my Macbook pro in bootcamp than it did on my desktop PC. Laptops are nice but if you want more raw computing power at a reasonable price a desktop is the way to go. Also, don&#8217;t get caught up with RAM. You can upgrade that later for relatively cheap. 64 bit OS is a must these days as well. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you&#8217;re with your kids then you should check out Valkenburg&#8217;s Tear Drop Park. Went there on a landscape trip in college and the slides were SW-EET. Parents were scrambling to grab their children as full grown men (aka over served landscape students) took over the playground for a half hour. Good times. Hudson River Park was pretty cool as well.</p>

I use a normal mouse most the time though so its not really a problem for me. One reason Vista may run faster than OS X is if you have the 64 bit version of windows installed with 4 or more GB of RAM. I don&#8217;t know the technical explanation (something to do with unix) but I will say that I&#8217;ve had a lot fewer problems with Vista Enterprise x64 on my macbook pro via bootcamp than I have had with my Dell desktop.</p>

I had xp installed through vmware fusion so I could run Autocad and it was so slow, even after I tweaked all the settings, that I just went back to bootcamp. If you think about it, it takes just as long to load up the virtual disk in parallels as it does to reboot in bootcamp. For me its much easier and quicker to take a CAD site map into 3d max and pop up buildings, basic trees, etc. Doesn&#8217;t look pretty but it gives you a better feel for your site and its alot more accurate and faster than sketchup.</p>

The scale of it alone is mind blowing. I would suggest skipping the indoor tour though unless decadent furniture is your thing.</p>

Pretty much covers all the basics. Just follow this link and the password is &#8220;dallas&#8221;.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>3ds Max is great but once you start on a model its hard to stop. Its addictive. Maybe its just me but I always start off with the intent of making a quick model for some perspectives and somehow I end up modeling half the city.</p>
