I noted Rico listed Ace Torre as an influence. I recently completed an extensive article profiling Torre for next month’s (May 09) issue of Landscape Architecture Magazine. It’s an in-depth look at his design drawing philosophies and techniques, with step by step photos of Torre in the studio creating one of his famous “tilt-up” aerial drawings.

Great idea for a group! As I accumulate drawings with each class, I am at a loss of what to do with it all, what is worthy to include in a portfolio and how best to create a portfolio.

I wish I could be there to help!

Thanks! you should have seen the play in game, it came down to the last seconds… Im not the biggest basketball fan in the world but that was pretty exciting. Not bad for some North Dakota land grant school, eh? We probably wont make it past the first round but hey, pretty fun stuff nontheless.

Michael we need to get the recent projects page up and going. Maybe we post a project every weds? Or a series of project images? Let me know what you think since obviously run this show. Oh and by the way, turn on your phone!

Michael; Thanks for the update. I thought the LA program was strong when I was a student. Clearly, it’s healthy and gaining ground with every passing year.
